Some horses are nice, some are special, and then there are once-in-a-lifetime horses like Dusty’s Gold Limo, affectionately known as “Harry.” Harry combines impressive talent with the gentle, willing disposition that makes him truly exceptional. Harry is the definition of a gentleman. Intelligent, patient, and eager to please, he side passes, parks out beautifully, and stands patiently to be mounted from nearly anywhere. He has a gorgeous, smooth, balanced lope and rides beautifully both under saddle and bareback, with or without a bridle. He neck reins one-handed, walks quietly on a loose rein, and carries a natural headset with the traditional Tennessee Walking Horse head nod. His remarkable disposition is one of his greatest qualities. Harry has been exposed to guns, tarps, bullwhips, loud noises, and unexpected distractions, handling them with confidence and composure. He ground ties like a seasoned professional and proudly carries the American flag. His calm, trusting nature makes him a pleasure to ride in unfamiliar surroundings or on a quiet trail.
Harry adjusts remarkably well to his rider. He satisfies experienced horsemen while offering the patience and gentleness beginners appreciate. He doesn't need constant direction and is the kind of horse you can relax on and trust to do his job. For a horse just three years old, his maturity, dependability, and willingness to please are truly impressive.
Versatile and athletic, Harry is suited for trail riding, bird hunting, field trials, or riding in the gallery. He has the stamina and ability to cover country while maintaining his easygoing attitude and excellent manners. His natural gait, responsiveness, and calm mind make him capable of excelling in a variety of settings. We have invested countless hours building his foundation and exposing him to a wide variety of situations. We know his heart, his training, and the exceptional individual he has become. His intelligence, kindness, and willingness have made watching his development incredibly rewarding. At only three years old, Harry already has a foundation that many horses never achieve in a lifetime, with an exciting future ahead. He has the talent, mind, and versatility to continue excelling in whatever direction his next owner chooses. Harry is beautiful, talented, trustworthy, and about as close to bombproof as you could hope to find. Honest, forgiving, and genuinely eager to please, he builds confidence and makes every ride memorable. We have had many incredible horses through our program, but Harry stands out. His next owner will gain far more than a beautiful Tennessee Walking Horse—they will gain a dependable partner, a trusted companion, and a horse to make a lifetime of memories with.
