I’ve never owned a Morgan before Franky, only stock breeds. As a professional trainer who’s bought, trained, and sold many horses over the years, I can honestly say Franky is different. He’s incredibly smart, sensitive, and has a special intuitiveness and desire to connect that sets him apart.
Franky has been under my professional training since he was a weanling. He is very well trained, soft, and responsive with all the right buttons. He excels at liberty, has a strong foundation in Cowboy Dressage and Working Equitation, and is solid on the trails — confident riding out solo or with others, including water, bridges, gates, pedestals, planks, and more. He has also ponied other horses, shows real promise of being cowy, ground ties reliably while grooming and saddling, draws and sidepasses beautifully to the mounting block steps, goes full up in the bridle, and neck reins well with Rommel reins.
Franky is happy, forward, loves to work, and genuinely craves attention and partnership. Although forward, he rates his speed beautifully and has a solid “whoa!” There’s no need for a long warm-up — in fact, even though I love liberty, many times I just get on Franky and go, even after having months off.
He also hauls, bathes, and clips like a gentleman.
He is not a beginner horse, but many competent, experienced riders have ridden him easily and enjoyed him. He needs a rider who can match his intelligence and sensitivity.
Because he’s so special, Franky will only go to the right fit. He will stay in full training with me until he sells so his transition is smooth.
