Sahara is a Section B Welsh Pony broodmare. We purchased her in 2020, and had a beautiful colt out of her in 2022, sired by Gayfields Call the Cops. Sahara is not started under saddle, and is not a kids or beginners pony to handle, but she is easy to handle for a competent adult. The colt we got out of her is the most level headed horse or pony that I've been around in years, and we wish we had a few more just like him. Unfortunately, due to family changes in late 2022, we've been unable to commit to breeding her since, and it's unlikely we'll have the opportunity to do so in the next year or two, so it's time to accept where I am in life and see if she can be better utilized in another breeding program. She is currently living in a pasture environment with three thoroughbred mares, and is the dominant mare in the field. She's living with full access to 200 acres, on steep terrain, with multiple creek crossings, dense trees, open grassland, cattle, goats, livestock guardian dogs, and wildlife. She's not afraid of children or unsafe around them, she loves my child, I just wouldn't hand her to my child to lead or handle independently.
