17-Year-Old Quarter Horse Mare – Great 4-H or All-Around Partner

Skittles is approximately 14.3 hands, looking for her next person.

She has experience as a ranch horse, has done arena work, did Eh Capa for a short period, and has given riding lessons to kids. She would make a nice partner for an intermediate youth or adult. She may do ok with a confident advanced beginner under the supervision of a more experienced rider.

She is kid friendly and has had many kids ride her safely ,however, she does have some vices and can be testy, that is why consistency and intermediate rider is recommended.

She loads, ties, and has been a versatile horse with plenty of experience. She's ready for someone who wants an enjoyable horse for arena riding, 4-H, and everyday light to intermediate riding. She does great bareback, bareback pad or saddle as well. I would not recommend high intensity riding such as barrel racing.

She has some maintenance and will do best with an owner who understands routine horse care.
