Banks Best
2023 AQHA/APHA Gelding
HUS / Ranch / All-Around Prospect
Hackettstown, NJ
(Reasonable offers considered before winter.)
“Rocky” is a flashy, 16hh liver chestnut by multiple World Champion sire Bank On The Best and out of Good Time to Tiger.
Quiet, sensible, and uncomplicated, Rocky rides the same whether in consistent work or after weeks off. More whoa than go, not spooky, soft in the bridle, and eager to learn. He has a comfortable, balanced W/T/L, stops off your seat, backs, side passes, and performs simple changes. Fancy enough for the show pen, with an easygoing disposition to enjoy at home.
Rocky began his show career as the 2024 NSBA Open Yearling Long Line Champion. This spring, he made his under-saddle debut with wins in both HUS and Ranch, repeating those results at his next outing. Most recently, he took the busy NJ State Fair atmosphere in stride and earned top results.
Rocky loves people and attention! He can occasionally be mouthy, though this has improved significantly with consistent work. Due to his age, an experienced rider or someone working with a trainer is recommended.
A recent PPE revealed findings that we are happy to discuss with serious interested parties, and limited radiographs available for review.
