Two sweet warmblood mares need new pastures. These are very nice mares, but I am no longer riding them and need to get them off my feed bill. Good homes are essential. I am asking $500 for each mare - with a written commitment from me that I will check on them in 6 months and, if they are receiving good care, I will refund the $500 to the buyer.
Lainey is a 20 year old, registered Oldenburg. Bay, blaze and two hind stockings. She was used for low level dressage. Two years ago she injured her left hamstring. She has fully healed, but scar tissue has caused her to be short strided in the left hind at the walk. She is comfortable and sound for light arena or trail riding. Vet records available.
Raspberry is an unregistered Hanoverian/TB cross. 19 years old. Former jumper. Sound for at least light riding. I have not jumped her, but have ridden her several times a week for low level dressage.
Neither horse has been ridden for several months, so a tune up is probably in order. They would do best with an intermediate level rider.
