Meet Ivy, a flashy 16.1h registered APHA mare with a versatile background and plenty of presence. Ivy has experience in dressage, trail riding, local shows, western pleasure, ranch shows, cow sorting, obstacle work, OHSET/catch riding environments, and general all-around riding. She is originally halter bred, has APHA points, has spent time with a Hunter Under Saddle trainer, and we were told she has previously foaled. Under saddle, Ivy walks, trots, lopes, stops, backs, side passes, moves off leg, handles obstacles, hauls out, and is currently working on lead changes and more advanced neck reining. She is sensitive and watchful, so she is best suited for a confident intermediate or advanced rider. She is not a beginner horse, but with consistency, fair direction, and a regular program, she has a lot to offer. On the ground, Ivy is easy to catch, good for the farrier, bathes, loads, clips, and is easy on blankets. She is current on vaccines, dental, deworming, and farrier care, and currently wears front shoes with minimal maintenance. Offered only because her owner is pregnant and wants Ivy to have the time and consistency she deserves. Right home is the priority. Videos available, PPE welcome at buyer’s expense.
