Buttons is a versatile trail, driving, and family pony suited for an advanced beginner or experienced rider looking for a dependable, well-trained partner. She has been trail ridden extensively through Daniel Boone National Forest, Red River Gorge, and Big South Fork, including overnight camping trips, and confidently handles challenging terrain, large river crossings, and group rides. Buttons is traffic safe, gunfire safe, tarp safe, dog safe, and comfortable around stock whips. She is broke to drive, neck reins, works off leg cues, side passes to the mounting block, performs a correct 360 spin, and opens and closes gates. She also loads and unloads easily, stands well for the farrier, and is hobble and high-line trained. With her kind disposition, athletic ability, and extensive experience, Buttons is an excellent choice for a family pony, trail partner, or all-around riding companion.
