“They’re great!” 🐯✨ And honestly, Tony the Tiger may have been talking about Frosted Flakes the horse.
Meet Frosted Flakes, affectionately known as Frosty — a 5-year-old, 15.3-hand Appaloosa Cross gelding who is about as close to an all-around dream horse as you can get.
Frosty is the kind of horse you can put just about anyone on and feel good about the ride. He has more woah than go, making him incredibly comfortable and confidence-building without being dull. He is happy to take care of a nervous beginner, yet has enough versatility and ability to keep a more experienced rider entertained. He has even been ridden by nervous beginners, and his steady, easygoing nature makes him the type of horse that can help someone gain confidence rather than lose it.
He has been ridden English, Western, and bareback, and he has experience out on the trails as well. Whether you’re looking to spend the afternoon in the arena, take a relaxing trail ride, or simply hop on bareback and enjoy your horse, Frosty is always ready to go to work — or just go have fun.
And it’s not just his riding that makes him special. Frosty is the kind of horse that makes the whole barn experience enjoyable. He is excellent for all the everyday groundwork and handling that comes with owning a horse. From grooming and handling to the general hustle and bustle of barn life, he is happy to be your partner. There isn’t a mean bone in this horse.
What makes Frosty particularly special is his ability to fit so many different riders and lifestyles. A first-time rider can feel comfortable on him. A child can learn and grow with him. An experienced rider can enjoy his versatility. A family can have confidence knowing they’ve found a horse that doesn’t need to be put in a tiny little box.
At 15.3 hands, he has enough size to feel substantial while still being incredibly comfortable to ride. His quiet mind, willing attitude, and natural “let’s go have some fun” personality make him the kind of horse you’ll find yourself looking forward to riding every day.
Frosty isn’t the horse you buy because he does one thing exceptionally well. He’s the horse you buy because he does EVERYTHING well.
Safe. Fun. Comfortable. Versatile. Kind. Sound. Clean X-rays.
And, as Tony would say…
“THEY’RE GREAT!” 🐯🥣❤️
If you’re searching for that rare horse who can help a nervous rider find their confidence, give a beginner a safe and enjoyable experience, and still be a genuinely fun ride for the experienced equestrian — Frosted Flakes deserves to be at the top of your list. Kid tested, mom approved, and show winner
