Meet Cucumber, a 10.2hh black-and-white paint pony with a wonderfully sensible brain and a big, personable presence. He has just the right amount of forward work ethic that makes a great driving partner, but he stays kind, straight forward, and responsive in everything he does. Sound, sane, and no vices or health issues.
Driving Highlights:
• Broke to Drive & Enjoys the Work – Confident in the cart, marches right along in the ring, woods, and open field!
• Great to Harness – Stands quietly from start to finish, polite and straight forward during every step and can be harnessed and hitched by one person
• Sensible but Not Dull – Has energy when you want it, but keeps a cool head
🛠 Farm & Handling Manners:
• Ponies off another horse with no issues
• Good with his feet, easy to catch, and respectful on the ground, and good to blanket and handle otherwise.
• Dog-friendly and used to the daily farm commotion
💚 Personality:
Cucumber is incredibly fun, curious, friendly, and full of charm. He’s the type of pony who steps up to work, enjoys having a job, and still keeps everything enjoyable. Perfect for an adult wanting a small, sensible driving partner with a great attitude and fun pony personality.
He has been ridden some with previous owners, but not in the time we have owned him as I do not have any little jockeys! Based on his demeanor and work ethic in harness, I think he could easily transition into a riding pony.
