We have a 13.3h 16yo extra thick halflinger gelding that we are possibly willing to rehome or do on-farm lease. He was taken out of a bad situation and has since become a trail star! He goes English and western, I am told he previously drove as well. He is the most forward halfie I have ever met. Has preference to trail riding over ring work. Traffic safe, loves the water, dog and kid safe, doesn’t have a care for 4 wheelers or any machinery. He stays fat on air, does require a muzzle if on grass or free choice hay. This boy may take a little to warm up to new people but once he knows who loves him he will love you back twice as hard. He has a solid w/t and can pick up the canter but has a hard time because he is so thick (we are still trying to perfect him loosing more weight). He is a man that loves regular work with his person and unfortunately life won’t allow me to give that to him currently. Cons: he takes a few weeks to settle into his new person. He is a stubborn halfie so if he doesn’t want to work he will try to bring you to the grass (if you know the breed you know what I am talking about) He prefers straight load trails over slant loads.
