Very motivated seller Pearl is a well-built, versatile all-around mare with a solid foundation and experience in a variety of disciplines. She neck reins, moves off leg pressure, side passes, backs, stops nicely, and is responsive under saddle. She has excellent ground manners—she’s easy to catch, stands tied, hauls well, stands quietly for the farrier and bathing, and has been exposed to a little bit of everything. Pearl has competed in gaming events at play days and OHSET, and has also been shown in Western Pleasure, Showmanship, Trail, Ranch, and more. She’s done team penning, cutting, and can be roped off of as well. She is naturally more go than whoa, making her a fun, athletic horse for a confident rider. She is quick on her feet, well broke, and best suited for an intermediate rider or above. She is not a beginner’s horse, as she can test new riders and has a bit of attitude until she knows who’s in charge. However, she has never offered to buck or rear. Pearl has had quite a bit of time off over the past year, so she’ll benefit from consistent riding and conditioning to get her back into shape. Once she’s legged up, she’ll make a great partner for someone looking for a versatile, athletic mare. She does require front shoes, as she is tender-footed on rocky ground.
