Meet, RAHELLA 3-Year-Old Blue Roan Mare | 14.2 Hands Some young horses are simply started under saddle. Others are given a foundation built on real miles, real experiences, and real trust. Rahella is one of those horses. At just 3 years old, this beautiful blue roan mare has already been intentionally trained in the direction I value most — becoming a dependable, gentle, fearless trail horse with the kind of mind and willingness that can take her far beyond what she has already accomplished. Rahella is gentle, gentle, gentle. She is smart, kind, willing, and the type of mare who truly bonds with her person. Once she connects with you, she will follow you around like a puppy dog on the ground. She enjoys attention, is easy to handle, and has a sweet disposition that makes her hard not to love. Under saddle, Rahella: • Walks, trots, and lopes • Neck reins • Has a good stop • Reverses • Lunges well • Stands for mounting and dismounting • Rides confidently out on the trails Rahella does have some go to her when asked, and because of that, I would currently recommend her for a more intermediate rider. She is not a deadhead, and I will always be honest about the horses I represent. She has life, willingness, and forward movement — but she has shown no buck, no bolt, and nothing stupid. Where Rahella truly shines is outside the arena. She has been taken through real trail country and trained to face the world with confidence. She crosses water, creeks, rocks, rough terrain, and travels up and down hills. She is easy on the trails, willing to go where she is pointed, and gentle with dogs traveling around her. She has also been extensively exposed to the kinds of things that make a dependable horse: 🎆 Fireworks 🔫 Gunfire 🟦 Tarps ⚽ Balls 🐕 Dogs 💦 Water and creeks 🪨 Rocks and uneven terrain ⛰️ Hills and challenging trails My goal with Rahella was never to make her a “fancy broke” arena horse and pretend she was something she wasn’t. My goal was to give her something I believe is even more valuable — confidence, exposure, experience, and a fearless foundation. Rahella is not fancy broke, but she is certainly bred nicely, and she is incredibly smart, willing, and kind. I have personally pointed her training toward becoming a horse someone can enjoy outside the arena — a young mare who has seen the world, been asked to think through obstacles, and learned to trust her rider. And the beautiful thing is… she is only 3 years old. She is still young enough for her next person to take her in nearly any direction they choose. Whether someone wants to continue developing her as a trail horse or build upon her foundation toward another discipline, I truly believe Rahella has the willingness and heart to go as far as her rider asks. On the ground, she is a pleasure to be around. I have so much more to say about this mare. Please feel welcome to call or text in regards to hearing more about her! So excited to speak with you. #580-615-1124
