I've had lucy for 4 wonderful years. I rode her a few summers ago, I am able to hop on with lots of time off in between and she tolerates it kindly. I have just recently started a business and it's taken off and my time to ride is no longer available. Pluses: Fantastic ground manners, loads, bathes, very sweet to be around, easy easy keeper, great for the farrier, nice feet, pleasant personality. Cons: She is a cribber. I do not keep a collar on her and she is not destructive, it's just her deal and it is what it is. She is boss mare, and assertive about it. She does not like dogs. Recently I have struggled with riding her, she tolerates me but there is a miscommunication between us. I do not have time, confidence or energy to figure out our issues, unfortunately. This horse is in her prime, she is top 3 smartest horses I've ever met, she thinks about our rides, I have so many wonderful things to say about her. However I feel like I am wasting her youth and she needs to go to someone who wants to figure out her puzzles, wants to bond with her and for now I just don't have the time. I am asking a small rehoming fee. I will not send her to a trader. I'd like to keep in touch because she will always have a home to fall back on if the need arise and I truly want to see this mare shine with a partner. This horse has younger ambitious rider potential written all over her, and that is my dream for her. Only serious buyers please, no traders, I will research you and I will ask for references. I don't expect it to be a forever home but of course that's the ideal. Thanks for reading!
