Johnny is a guy who will get you compliments everywhere you go! Standing at 14.1hh, he is a good minded, intelligent and athletic prospect that is ready to go in any direction. He will be a handy all around horse that excels in a fast paced environment that likes variety and having a job to do. He was in professional training as a 3 year old and went to Arizona for 3 months working with live cattle and getting outside riding time. This spring he had an additional month of professional tune up and is being regularly ridden this summer. His sire is a multiple world champion and has points in ranch rail, ranch riding, ranch conformation, barrels, and poles. Johnny is well started and has all the buttons including a great stop, turns, backing, side passing, and is soft in the bridle. He has cow sense and has been exposed to cattle, tracked the dummy and sled, lightly started on team sorting and breakaway, and has been started on the pole bending and barrel racing patterns. Enjoys working with cattle and likes having a variety of jobs. Also rides in and out of the arena. He is a kind, gentle, and in your pocket type gelding with great ground manners. Best suited for an experienced, confident rider due to his age. Loads on his own, stands tied, bathes, and great with farrier and vet. He had a month tune up in the spring and a roper has been riding him this summer. Ready to be finished your way! Daughter leaving for college. UTD on all care.
