Available for Adoption. Pilot is a 20+ palomino quarter horse gelding who was rescued from a kill pen in Louisiana. After a long physical recovery from exposure to a mycotoxin, he came to Santana where he was evaluated for behavior and riding ability. He loves to be around people but gets very nervous under saddle. Vet did not find any physical problems so it was likely caused by past handling. He loves playing with other horses and enjoys liberty work. He would be a stunning addition to your pasture as a companion. Might need to lose a few pounds! Loves to have his teeth rubbed.
