Dante is a 10 year old, 15.1 hand registered chestnut Arabian gelding. Dante is broke, but hasn't been ridden for almost 4 years. He is extremely bright and a quick learner, and loves mentally stimulating activities. He may do well with liberty training. He's also very curious and loves spending time with his people. He is definitely a "pocket pony" and will follow you around and "help" with whatever you're doing.

He is servicably sound; he short steps on his right hind, but does not need any medication to stay comfortable. Walks, trots, canters with no problems. He could do well with a gradual re-introduction to work and strengthening plan. He has experience with lunging, long lining, and trot poles. He has been barefoot his whole life, so it's unknown if shoes will help his short striding.

Owner is willing to share vet records with serious purchaser. Due to financial circumstances, a full workup wasn't able to be performed. He is up to date on vaccines and dental, and has no other known health issues. He stands quietly at both the hitching post and cross-ties, and loves grooming, especially butt scratches.

Owner has had a change of circumstances and can no longer provide the right home for him. He has a lot of potential and would make an excellent partner for a lucky someone. A good home is most important. $1,500 negotiable.
