Ariel (JC: ShesGotMeGoing) is a 2015 mare who had limited starts on the track before retiring to sporthorse mode. We know she has previously spent some time in a hunter program, was leased by a teenager, and has been on trails prior to coming to MARE. We originally brought her into the program with the goal of having her become a more intermediate/advanced lesson horse, but our clients at that level have all bought their own horses leaving Ariel all alone. She's been learning the beginnings of dressage and eventing with our in-house trainer, Lola, and she is really coming into her own. She's also had a western saddle on and been taken around the pattern once or twice with Mary.

Ariel would do best with a more confident rider who enjoys a bit of spice in their life. She is forward thinking without being over-the-top and very brave. She doesn't hesitate over fences and hasn't batted an eye at the "spooky corner" that some of the lesson horses swear exists. No vices, she is sweet and seems to be really enjoying getting back to "real" work now that she has developed some muscle and settled into her routine. She oozes potential, and we could easily see her stepping into the green jumpers or a starter event later this summer. (We may bring her ourselves if she is still around.) Could easily match with an ambitious teen rider or adult amateur looking for something light on their feet and ready to roll.
