Jade is the kind of horse that wants a job and thrives with a confident rider that can match her energy and drive. Jade is also very safe around young kids and packs toddlers around at ease and would make a great family horse. She’s safe, sure-footed, and steady across disciplines and environments with the experience to back it up. While she has the bone and power of a draft, she no deadhead - Jade is responsive, forward-thinking and happiest when she has a job. Jade has been with us since she was a yearling. She has proven to be:
▪️A Confidence Builder for Young Horses - Jade has ponied and steadied countless colts during their first rides - calm, collected and patient under pressure.
▪️Handy with Ranch Work - During long days tackling life on the ranch or moving cows on a relaxed ride, Jade handles it all. She thrives with connection and purpose.
▪️Clinic-Seasoned - She’s been ridden in and helped teach numerous Horsemanship, Stockmanship and Trail Obstacle Clinics both at KPH and off-site.
▪️Unfazed in new environments and hauls well
▪️Used in Summer Camps and Lessons for advanced teens in 2022
▪️Has competed in Western and Classical Dressage at local shows
▪️Excellent for both farrier and vet - stands quietly, has fantastic feet and is an easy keeper, currently has front shoes but can also go barefoot
