If you want a safe but spunky trail horse, Chickory is your guy! HUNDREDS of trail miles. Also has showed in Western Pleasure and halter class. He is a trail eating machine. Crosses logs, water and rocky trails smoothly. Beginning safe, but works better with an intermediate rider. Light mouth and works off leg pressure but handles a total novice if they don't mind his fast pace. Used for the last 7 years as a guest horse on trail rides. Good teen horse. No spook, no buck, no kick or bite. Stands like a rock when saddling or grooming. Very people friendly. Good with dogs, bikes,hikers, deer etc.
