Looking for a versatile, willing mare with a solid foundation and the ability to do a little bit of
everything? Champaign Please is a talented, trainable mare ready to continue her journey with
a rider who enjoys variety and wants a dependable partner to take in multiple directions.
With experience outside the arena as well as in it, she has been exposed to cattle, burros, trail
riding, and multiple styles of riding. She is best suited for an intermediate rider or experienced
horse person looking for a fun, honest mare to continue developing through consistent riding
and a variety of activities. With the right program, she has the potential to shine as a Ranch
Versatility, Ranch Riding, or all-around performance partner.

● Stands well for the farrier
● Loads and trailers quietly
● Clips, bathes, and ties
● Well-behaved for veterinary care
Training & Experience:
● Ridden both in the arena and on the trail
● Has worked cattle and burros
● Has been roped off during training
● Worked the CowTrac flag
● Rides well in a snaffle and hackamore
● Currently being finished one-handed in the bridle and continues to progress while
transitioning between the bridle and snaffle
Background:
Champaign Please was originally started with barrel racing in mind but was ultimately not the
speed-focused prospect her breeder was seeking. Instead, she has developed into a versatile,
willing mare with experience in a variety of disciplines and a strong foundation to continue
building on.
Her current owner recently graduated from high school and no longer has the time to keep her
in consistent work, creating an excellent opportunity for her next home.

This mare is best suited for someone looking for a versatile partner to enjoy a variety of
activities. A rider who appreciates a willing horse and enjoys ranch work, trail riding, and
continued training will find a lot to like in Champaign Please. With consistency and miles, she
has the potential to excel as a Ranch Versatility or Ranch Riding horse while remaining a fun
and dependable all-around mount.
Maintenance: She wears front wedge shoes (no hind shoes) and is on a routine 7-week shoeing schedule. X-rays taken last year showed very mild navicular changes, and the wedge shoes are simply part of her regular maintenance to keep her comfortable and supported in work. She has been happy and sound with this routine. X-rays are available upon request.
