​Cruze is an absolute gentleman on the ground and a true joy to have in the barn. He is an easy-going, incredibly loving boy who thrives on attention, loves being groomed, and genuinely wants to please. He has fantastic ground manners, is easy to catch in the pasture, and integrates beautifully into a herd.
​Under saddle, he is a dream for an experienced rider. He has a very smooth ride and boasts an impressive foundation with "lots of buttons." He was started right and trained well; he neck reins, does beautiful turns on the haunches and turns on the forehand, side-passes with ease, and has a great stop. I am fortunate to have an extensive history on him, including photos and information from his first 7 years of life with his previous owner, which will be passed along to his next home.
​Considerations:
While he is a sweetheart, he is not a beginner's horse due to two specific quirks. He has a history of a few bucks under saddle, so he requires a confident, capable rider who can easily handle that behavior if it arises. Additionally, due to a past trailering accident, he has pulled back while tied inside the trailer before. However, he will load cleanly and travels quietly and easily once he is in and underway.
​He has so much talent, a wonderful mind on the ground, and a heart of gold. To the right capable home, he is going to make an incredible partner.
