Carlos is the cutest sweetest boy on the planet. He’s completely in your pocket and will do whatever you ask him! He is schooling first level dressage knows shoulder in as well. Will trail ride basically anywhere and is happy to do so. He doesn’t have a buck spook bolt rear in him. He is very well behaved and UTD on vax, coggins, teeth and farrier work. Carlos is barefoot and I would recommend front shoes if you were going to do a lot of trail riding on rocks. He lunges, loads on the trailer, stands tied, and will live outside 24/7. Carlos does have a go button. If you kick him he will canter along with you but he always stops. Not a runaway type he just doesn’t want to be in trouble. He is active with his mouth of he gets excited but doesn’t put his tongue over the bit or anything goofy like that. I believe someone has done some neck reining with him as he seems pretty handy with it. We ride him in a regular snaffle two handed. As far as turnout goes he lives out in a mixed herd with mares, another gelding and ponies. He isn’t dominant or mean but he will stand up for himself when he’s tired of the ponies being ponies. He isn’t herd bound, he may call once or twice to his friend if they leave but nothing dramatic. He is out on a roundbale with minimal grass in their paddock. His “grain” is safe choice all life stages and he gets 1/4 lb of that twice a day as well as a vitamin supplement.
