Sport is a stunning 10-year-old, 15.1-hand, double registered SSH/TWH gelding with presence, personality, and talent to spare. He is the kind of horse who immediately catches your eye and keeps your attention with his charm, intelligence, and athletic ability.
Sport is best suited for a confident, experienced rider with strong horsemanship skills and an active, engaged riding style. He is sensitive, responsive, and thoughtful, so he would not be appropriate for a beginner or nervous rider. For the right person, however, he has the potential to be an exceptional partner.
This handsome gelding is engaging, friendly, and loves interacting with both people and horses. He has a playful, curious nature and enjoys being involved. Sport is well-schooled in the arena and has a solid foundation that makes him both fun and rewarding to ride.
He knows one-rein stops, two-handed stops, backup, turn on the forehand and haunches, side pass, opening gates, and confidently crosses water. He is surefooted, a strong climber, and has plenty of trail experience. Very little bothers him, and he rides out alone or in a group. He also loads like a dream and is excellent for the farrier and veterinarian.
Sport has been exposed to dogs, bikes, traffic, semi trucks, ATVs, bridges, lakes, rivers, and even the ocean. He has always received excellent care and is up to date on everything. He is currently being taken back through my program to make sure he is fully polished and ready for his next owner.
Sport truly shines on the trail, but he also has the quality and movement to be a wonderful candidate for gaited dressage. He has lovely, versatile gaits, including the flat walk, running walk, saddle gait, rack, fox trot, and canter. He would also make a great LD or endurance horse.
