Meet Tuff, a handsome 2021 APHA-registered gelding with a great mind and a bright future. I’ve owned him since he was born, so his entire history is known. If you’re looking for a young horse with a solid start that’s ready to be finished your way, Tuff is an excellent prospect.
Tuff received 60 days of professional training and has since completed two months of ranch work, giving him a solid foundation under saddle. He also competed at a local horse show last year where he handled the busy atmosphere exceptionally well and performed great. Tuff is currently in training and continues to progress each week. As his training and experience increase, so will his asking price.
He rides nicely in the arena, is enjoyable on the trails, and has been exposed to a variety of environments. Tuff loads and unloads from the trailer (He backs out when unloading) , and is incredibly easy to catch—he’ll often meet you at the gate looking for attention. He has a kind, friendly personality and enjoys being around people.
Tuff would do best with a confident rider who can continue his education. He is not a beginner horse. He’s athletic, willing, and has the potential to excel in ranch work, trail riding, versatility, or just about any direction you’d like to take him.
- Maintenance, he does require shoes, he gets sore without them.
