Winnie is an easy going black and white mini. She is great with kids and leads well, picks up feet, and stands for farrier. She is great for kids to brush and lead and love on. She is broke to ride and prefers to walk but does trot and canter with a lot of effort. Much more whoa than go. Good for kids to just sit on or tinker around with.

Her pasture mate can be turned out in the back pasture out of sight and she doesn't seem to mind - not much bothers or spooks her. She can get pushy if she has had enough but she usually minds well with a confident correction.

Winnie has a history of foundering and needs a dry lot. Ideally she would have a stall to come into during cold winter nights - we had a case of winter laminitis this past year due to standing outside in extreme temperatures.

She is fed only grass hay and is still difficult to keep lean on that. She sees the farrier consistently at six weeks because her toes like to grow quick. My child needs a larger horse and we don't have room to keep her otherwise we would.
