Appendix AQHA mare by Hot Ones Only, a multiple World Champion sire, and out of Luke At Me, an own daughter of Alotta Luke. Bred with the pedigree to excel in the Hunter Under Saddle, but the versatility and temperament to go in a variety of directions.
She has approximately 90 rides under saddle but is still very green. She walks, trots, and lopes. She has a beautiful stop considering her size. She has not been started toward any specific discipline, making her a nice prospect for someone wanting to finish her in any discipline of their choice.
She has a very personable, kind personality and is enjoyable to be around. Loves being around children and doted on. I have swung ropes around her, sacked her out some and walked over tarps and feed bags. She ties, bathes, blankets, lunges, stands for the farrier okay but could use a reminder to stand more patient for that. She is easy to catch, and gets along with other horses.
She has a large cosmetic scar on her left hind cannon bone that has never affected her soundness. PPEs are welcome.
She is confirmed in foal to Colour Cat (approximate due date of 4/10/27), a buckskin son of Metallic Cat and out of Colour Me A Winner by Hot Colours. Colour Cat is an AQHA point earner in heading, heeling, and one performance halter point, combining proven performance bloodlines with athletic ability and color. He is AQHA 5-panel tested and is N/N for GBED, HYPP, MH, and PSSM1, and N/HRD (HERDA carrier). (BABY WILL NOT BE AFFECTED) Colour Cat is also enrolled in the Gold Rush Futurity and the Ropers Classic, making this foal eligible for valuable incentive opportunities through those programs (subject to the programs’ current eligibility requirements).
We purchased her shortly after a loss in our family, and because of that she simply didn’t receive the riding time we had originally planned. We later bred her intending to retain the foal, but our plans have changed. I think the timing was off for our broken hearts. This mare was everything she was advertised as.
