Slick is a talented all-around horse. He is good minded in and out of the arena. He has been ridden by me and a trainer for the past 3 years. He is consistent and very smart. He was shown in halter, showmanship, English pleasure, western pleasure, ranch riding, at a competitive local level before. He will without a doubt excel in the show pen once again. I took him on a week long cross country trail ride with no issues. He is sound, smart, friendly, loads good, no issues with farriers, and reliable.
He comes to you are the mounting block. He has good ground manners. He stays focused and is always trying to find a way to please you. He is light on the bit and easy to collect. He’s not lazy but not too much go. He has a lot of versatility and has lots of options he could very well excel in. He would make a great 4-H horse and show horse. He looks beautiful in an English classes, but does just as well in a pleasure/ ranch riding class. I previously used him in speed but he did not enjoy that and has sense been I’ve only been working on those pleasure/ ranchy type rides.

- low maintenance (hocks injected once a year if being pushed hard & needs shoes)

❌ Has not recently been in the show pen BUT has been practicing at home and does fine in other arenas (I do plan on showing him until he sells)
