Started under saddle at 2-years old. At 3-years old he rode the Sheltowee Trail Ride and on several outings with Backcountry Horsemen in Missouri and in Utah. He's completed a 3-day leg of the John Wayne Cross-State Ride, including crossing the Renslow Trestle over i90 and the Beverly Bridge across the Columbia River--all without a single hesitation. This year, he completed his second year on the Chief Joseph Trail Ride (200 miles total). He's never shied from water crossing, bridges, ditches, logs, or from range cows we've come across. He's 100% dog broke; has no problems with dogs running around at his feet. He's an easy keeper and is easy going turned out with other horses (mares and geldings). When not on the trail, he lives peacefully in a herd with 20 horses. As a teenager (in horse years), an experienced owner/rider is going to be the best fit to ensure his continued training and maturing process.
