I honestly can't say enough good things about Magi. I've owned her for 12 years and she's been a complete joy to do everything with. Extremely friendly, laid back and easy going temperament. Good with traffic, farrier, to load and travel, clip, vet and with dogs and general farm life. A perfect balance of whoa and go. Easy to move forward and pops into canter with the lightest of aids. Not strong though and slows with just seat and leg aids. Owner has in the last couple of years started some dressage and Magi has consistently done all that has been asked of her, taking senior Training Level champion at her last show. She could easily move up to First Level now. Magi also loves to jump and son has jumped her over fences up to 3'. She's never offered to refuse or run out. A good example of the breed and really nicely put together. She's been entered in a few in-hand open pony breed show classes and won every time. Magi's also been to several clinics, has been used in Pony Club lessons, dressed up for Christmas and takes everything in her stride. She's done hundreds of miles on the trails and doesn't have any issues. She has good feet, but wears boots when the trails are at all rocky. In the 12 years I've owned her, she's never had any lameness issues. Very recent on teeth and vaccinations and no known health issues. Like most Fjords, Magi is an easy keeper. She's never had laminitis, but like many of her type, has the potential for it if her diet is not managed. Owner has never had any problems though with keeping Magi at a healthy weight. Magi bred a foal a few years ago with absolutely no problems. She's also easy to saddle fit, currently in a Wintec AP. This sale is extremely hard, but son has moved away for college, leaving me with too many horses to keep fit. Open to any PPE at buyer's expense Contact me for more information and photos, although I also have lots of photos on my Facebook page. No off-property trials or leases Priced at $8,500 USD, approx $12,000 CAD
