After a lot of time, thought, and honestly a lot of tears, I've made the incredibly difficult decision to offer Kai to the right home. If I could afford to keep every horse I've loved, she'd never leave. But I've reached a point where I have to be honest with myself about my personal goals and some life changes. Kai simply isn't the horse that's going to get me where I want to go competitively, and she deserves to be with someone whose goals align with what she truly enjoys. Kai is one of the sweetest mares you'll ever meet. She absolutely loves attention, thrives on being someone's favorite, and has an incredible personality. My two-year-old daughter climbs all over her, brushes her, and loves spending time with her. Although when it comes to riding, I would recommend an intermediate or above rider. She's kind, affectionate, and genuinely enjoys being around people. She has excellent groundwork, has previously been a broodmare, and would make a wonderful addition to a breeding program if that's a direction someone wanted to pursue. When it comes to riding, Kai enjoys having a job. The more consistent she is in work, the happier and better she is. She loves getting out on the trails, poker rides, and I truly think she'd make a fun jumper or even an endurance prospect. I originally purchased Kai with the hope of making her a competitive barrel and gaming horse. While she has done some patterned speed events, I've come to realize that's simply not where she shines. Because of her track background, busy competition environments can make her anxious, and while she tries her heart out, she just doesn't enjoy that lifestyle the way I had hoped. She doesn't have the speed or desire/drive for upper-level competitive gaming, and that's okay. She deserves a career she can truly enjoy. This sale has absolutely nothing to do with her quality. It has everything to do with finding the right fit for both of us. I'm in no rush to sell, and a phenomenal home is my absolute priority. Please don't inquire if you're looking for a quick flip or just another horse. She deserves someone who will appreciate the incredible mare she is. Asking $6,000 If you think Kai might be your perfect partner, send me a message. I'd love to tell you more about this very special girl.
