Unicorn is a cute little 14.1-hand cremello mare who is just plain FUN to have around.
She’s easy to catch, loads, bathes, stands tied, and is good for the farrier. She has gone camping, swimming, down dirt roads, and has been exposed to plenty of everyday life.
Is she fancy broke? Nope.
Is she a performance horse? Nope.
Is she a cowboy-broke ranch horse? Also nope. 😂
She is literally just a nice little “putt around and have fun” horse. She’s going well enough that I let all of my kids ride her, and she’s been an easy, enjoyable little mare for our family.
She’s only 4, so she still has plenty of time to continue learning and gaining miles. She’d be a fun little horse for someone wanting to trail ride, camp, cruise down the road, and just enjoy having a horse without needing a fancy show or performance prospect.
☀️ A couple things to know about Unicorn:
She is a cremello with very light/pink skin and blue eyes, so she does require a little extra attention when it comes to sun exposure and protecting her sensitive skin and face.
She is also LOW girl on the pecking order. In a herd setting, she tends to be the one everyone picks on. She does great turned out with our pony, but in a bigger herd she doesn’t stand up for herself very well. Because of that, she looks a little rough around the edges at the moment from getting picked on. I’ve moved her into a different lot where she isn’t having to deal with that, so she should clean back up nicely. I just don’t want someone showing up expecting a perfectly polished little Barbie horse right now. 😂
The ONLY reason she’s being listed is because we’re cutting back on personal horses so I can put the money toward getting my daughter a nice show horse. Otherwise, Unicorn would happily stay here.
She isn’t being advertised as something she’s not. She’s young, she’s not fancy broke, and she isn’t going to walk into a performance pen tomorrow.
She’s simply a cute, sweet little putt-around mare that’s fun to have around. 🦄🩷
