Sweet 5-Year-Old Sorrel Mare
This sweet young sorrel mare is looking for someone to continue bringing her along and give her the miles she deserves.
At 5 years old, she has a great start and has already seen more real country than a lot of horses her age. She’s been ridden out in the mountains, through rough terrain, across creeks, around cattle, dogs, wildlife, and all the everyday things that come with ranch life. She’s willing, athletic, and has a kind disposition with a lot of potential ahead of her.
She is still a young horse and is not being advertised as finished. She needs more consistent riding, more wet saddle blankets, and someone who can continue building her confidence and education. With the right rider and continued miles, I think she has all the makings of a really nice all-around ranch or mountain horse.
She saddles, rides out, stands tied, and has been used in real-world situations rather than just riding circles in an arena. She has a good mind and seems to take new things in stride, but like any five-year-old, she still has plenty left to learn.
This is a mare for someone who appreciates a good young horse with a solid foundation and wants the opportunity to finish one their own way.
