Smokin Blue Denali is an exceptionally large 2012 bay roan mare, standing an impressive 16.3 hands. At 14 years old, she is entering the next chapter of her life and is ideally suited to become a full-time broodmare.

Denali is AQHA and FQHR registered, 6-panel negative and carries an outstanding pedigree filled with foundation-bred, heavy-boned working horses. She has the size, substance and temperament to produce exceptional offspring. She is color tested as Ee/Aa/RNrn

She is well-mannered and easy to handle. Denali loads, leads, stalls, ties, stands well for the farrier and bathes without issue. She is broke to ride and has been trail ridden during the past few years we’ve owned her, which is exactly what we purchased her for. She has been a wonderful, dependable mare and has always been a respectful middle-ranking member of our herd.

Due to her age and exceptional size, Denali has developed some early arthritic changes, though she can still be ridden, we feel it would be ideal to solely transition her into a broodmare home rather than continuing a riding career. She was live-covered in the spring of 2025 but unfortunately slipped a beautiful grulla roan colt in January.

She has always been up to date on routine veterinary and farrier care, has a current negative coggins and has been well cared for throughout her time with us. She is currently pasture kept.
