No shortage of personality in this guy!
Not lacking in a show record in his short 8 years, he’s won many high points, buckles and titles at the Open and Pinto Level. He has 2 APHA performance points and 25 PtHA performance points!
Champion and Reserve Congress championship titles from Color Breed Congress.
Past owner said his best classes were English, Trail and Ranch.
Olaf was fairly recently purchased, but unfortunately for him the gal that purchased him only wants to ride in the arena and Olaf is bored bored BORED! He craves diversity and will thrive in a setting where he can shine as the jack of all trades he is!
I would say he’s slightly arena sour. Not dangerous, but it seems to not be his happy place currently. I think he would be fine if he was able to get out and experience other stuff. Not the same arena at the same time every day. The past owner said they did lots of trail riding mixed in with the arena work, so I think he’s missing that.
He loves trails, walks right out! Happy alone or in a group.
He loves jumping, although I don’t think he’s ever been over a full course or anything huge.
He loves chasing cows and goats! I think he would make a jam up sorter and penner!
I could see him making a fantastic youth horse for a kid who wanted to do it all. Like 4-H, Pony Club or High School Eq team.
Hauls well, ties and crossties, loves grooming and generally being fawned over.
Olaf is tidy in his stall, loves turnout and is respectful of fences. He will pull the fly masks off of all his neighbors though!
He’s a very smooth mover with a pitter patter jog.
Has never been injected or injured. We have a full vet check we’re happy to share! He has nice big feet. He is currently wearing a small wedge on the fronts to accommodate his angles best via X-rays. Farrier feels confident he will be able to transition back once his natural angles are where they need to be.
