Ember is a 5 year old registered quarter horse mare with a pretty buckskin color. She stands at 14.2 hands and has a stocky build. She has been with us the past 3 years and has seen miles of trails and is well accustomed to hours in the arena. Her trail experience includes riding over creeks, logs, bridges and navigating different types of terrain. She rides out quiet and confident by herself or with a group of horses. In the arena Ember rides off your seat and legs well. Walk, trots, lopes circles and has a nice stop. She stays soft in the bridle, neck reins, and rides one-handed. She has all the buttons and side passes under saddle and also over to the mounting block on the ground. She has adjusted to living on a bison farm and is used to farm equipment, dogs, children and also riding around the bison. Ember is not a ‘mare-ish’ type of horse and I’ve used her to pony young colts and work with them. Shes been in the pasture with other horses and she stays calm and collected even with other horses running around her. Overall she is a low maintenance horse and does well in a stall or out in the pasture. She does not require special care and is an easy keeper. Ember rides best under an experienced rider. She is a horse that is aware of her surroundings, she’s had beginners on her but will ride better for an experienced rider. She sells sound with no vices. UTD on farrier, teeth and has a current coggins. Reach out to me with any questions, more pictures and videos are available.
