🔥 fire sale! For sale on sale IF HES GONE THIS WEEK ONLY. Slim - Hes good mister AQHA gelding 14.3 hands born July 28, 2019 Papers in hand Before you read any farther Slim is n/h; meaning he carries one copy of hypp. However as long as I have owned him he has been non symptomatic and has required no special maintenance for it. Still reading? Great! He is a really good boy but has had a ruff go at life and really needs his person and a whole lot of love. I bought him October 2024, underweight and half handled. I spent the winter putting weight on him and teaching him how to be a good citizen. He leads, loads, hauls, camps well. He got his first rides June 2025, where we took our time and went at his pace. He hauled and camped overnight at DbarD and did well. Got lots of trail miles and show exposure (not shown). In September he camped for 4 days on a picket and had no complaints. He did amazing on a 15 mile trail ride where he was passed by cars , side-by-sides, and dirt bikes, even rode around tractor wagons and horse wagons and he handled it all with grace. He sat for the winter. April 2026 I started putting rides on him and he went back into work well. May 2026 in hopes to keep him progressing I sent him to another trainer as I wasn't going to have the time. In the 6 weeks he was there, he was never ridden and the trainer was unable to throw a leg over. He came home. June 23rd, I had him scoped for ulcers. He had squamous ulcers. He spent the rest of June and beginning of July being treated. He was a saint for his medicine and he became a real love bug. Even the vets liked his demeanor. July 20th he was re-scoped and is ulcer free! That day he also got his teeth and his sheath cleaned. He is clean inside and out 🫧. I have not had the time to restart him or dedicate anymore TLC to him and he really deserves it. He'll come with his custom embroidered halter, and any supplements I have left over, a half tube of gastro guard and a full tube of ulcer guard. Watching this guy progress backwards is killing me so I'm being 100% honest as I love this horse and want him to go to a loving home that'll give him the time and patience he needs. Pictures of him from last summer in just pasture as he can be a very good looking horse, pictures in front of the red barn are current as he lost a little weight from the ulcers 💔 Selling as unbroke and no test rides. May trade for not a horse, ex: a really nice saddle, a hot walker, round pen panels quads, etc.
