Cona Tom Triple (Two Moons) Is an 11 Year Old Registered AQHA Gelding. He stands 15.2 and weighs around 1,250 lbs. I had done a complete Health and Lameness Evaluation done on him yesterday (8-10-26) including and 6-month Health and Coggins and X-rays to take any guesswork out of the purchase process and of course, any additional PPE's are gladly welcome at buyer's expense. He is current on vaccinations, worming and shoes. At 11 years old he is the perfect age to have all the experience you need with but still young enough to be your perfect horse for many years to come. Two Moons has impeccable ground manners, is super easy to catch anywhere, stands perfectly for the farrier, saddling, tying, mounting (ground ties) will never paw or pull back. He will ride out in the front, back or alone with no problems. I ride him out alone and sometimes in some rough places and always feel safe. He has all the buttons and will open gates, move up to a mounting block or side pass over an obstacle on the trail if needed. He has a nice walk and is definitely not a lazy horse. He is not an arena horse as he gets very hot in performance type situations or anything where you ask speed of him. I have used him a couple times for team sorting though and he did great. Two Moons is a big strong horse that is VERY soft in the face and easily moves off your legs and seat. He moves out when asked and therefore he is definitely not a horse for a young or inexperienced rider. He is the same horse every time even with time off (although much more energetic with time off but nothing bad). He has never offered to buck, is not cold backed or cinchy. I have never had him "spook" on the trail but at times he can really look things over. All I do is give him a second, let him look at whatever it is he sees then ask him to continue. He has always been fine and will just walk past whatever is bothering him but keeps an eye on it. Two Moons stands perfectly for the farrier, (I have always kept him on a 6-7 week schedule), has never refused to load in anything, rides bareback, moves up to anything for mounting, clips, bathes and is just a great horse to be around. He is not bomb proof, dead-head that anyone can ride though. He knows his job and will do whatever he is asked. He requires a rider that understands how to ride a really soft, broke horse and will not constantly pull on him or squeeze their legs out of fear etc. I am a very light rider, I ride with a loose rein and no leg unless I am asking something of him. (In the video below, I am riding with much more contact than normal, to try to get him to collect a little better but he has not been ridden much lately so was not as soft as I would have liked, I also didn't have his normal bridle so had to use one that was less than ideal for what I was doing). I normally just lope him around on a loose rein and have other videos of that.
