Ty is a handsome 10-year-old palomino gelding, approximately 15–15.1 hands, looking for the right companion/non-riding home.
Ty is an absolute sweetheart on the ground. He is friendly, personable, easy to catch, leads well, loads well, and has excellent groundwork. He gets along well with other horses, although he can be dominant around food. He is barefoot with good feet, recently trimmed, up to date on vaccines, and has had his teeth floated.
Ty has had professional training and time under saddle, but despite continued work, he can be unpredictable and has bucked under saddle. Because of this, we are looking for a NON-RIDING home and are not representing him as a riding horse. We want to be completely transparent and find a situation where he can thrive without the expectation of being ridden.
He would make a wonderful pasture companion for someone looking for a beautiful, friendly gelding to love and enjoy from the ground. He is easy to have around and deserves a knowledgeable, kind home that appreciates him for exactly who he is.
