In the arena Comanche goes into business mode and loves to work. He has been trained in dressage, moves well off of leg pressure and seat. He’ll ride around on loose rein not rushing off but also is easy to push forward and ride collected. He has smooth comfortable gaits, easy transitions, picks up his leads nicely, will side pass and yields hips and shoulders. He would do so well and he has the foundation for someone who wants to continue his dressage training.
He has been used for several lessons, teaching young riders body control and how to use their legs and seat, he has been so patient and has the demeanor to make a great lesson horse.

Comanche has been ridden in english and western tack, he does great both ways and is stunning in either one. He’s also been ridden bareback and seems to enjoy that.
He’ll trot ground poles and take a small jump with no issues, he has not been pushed in this area but he’s willing and would quickly progress.
On the trails Comanche will lead or follow, he does good in a group or will go out solo. He’ll cross water, navigate over rough terrain, carry himself well up and down hills. His willingness to move off of your leg is so handy on the trail if you need to move him around trees or rocks.

Comanche is available through us by his breeder who has raised a few horses similar to him, they have all been exceptional and beautiful movers.
He stands in cross ties, tied or ground ties. Stands to be groomed, tacked, bathed, braided, for the farrier, etc.
Loads, unloads and trailers with ease.
Easy to catch and has been happily living with a mixed herd, on night turnout. He is kind to other horses.
He is used to all the farm equipment and farm animals; tractor, mowers, dogs, cats, cows, chicken, roosters, etc.
Up to date on deworming, dentist, farrier and has a current coggins.
He has good solid feet and is doing well barefoot.
Comanche sells sound and healthy.
