If you’re looking for a horse to just pull out of the pasture and go, this is your guy. Nothing mean or complicated about him. Stands in cross ties, stands for farrier and vet, loads easily. Does fine in a pasture with a herd or in a stall with a run. Easy keeper on just grass hay, does great barefoot.
No soundness issues, he’s a very healthy guy. Teeth were floated last fall, had his spring shots and deworming, hooves trimmed on schedule. Reason for the sale is I bought him for my 8 year old son but he is more interested in sports now.
Chief would make a great step up horse for another kid or someone just looking for a safe easy ride that still has some get up and go when asked. He is not to be sold for gaming events or jumping. I would prefer a home that has horse experience to ensure he gets the best routine care and nutrition.
