Whisper is a big built, grade, 8 year old Missouri Foxtrotter gelding. He has spent his life on the trails and doing Field Dog Trials. He is used to the hounds, the gun fire and the birds. He's also not hard to look at and turns heads wherever we go. I personally adore his ground manners. I can leave him tied and I know him and my property will still be in one piece when I return. He has a good gait and also lopes nicely. He trailer loads with no issue and is good for the farrier. I also love a horse with a good neck rein and he doesn't let me down in that department. I have also ponied other horses off him with no issue. This is a really great using horse that is big enough for the men that are looking for their next hunting horse, or he could easily go back to the field trials or be someones great mountain trail horse. I have had no issues with him crossing water, deadfall or tough footing.
