6 yo grade bay gypsy x appy crossbred gelding, stands 14.3 HH
“Cody” is an amazing all around gelding with a mind and heart of gold! Heavy bone, great feet and a fabulous combination of forward, confident and sensible ride! Cody has been trail ridden extensively, he goes out solo and in large chaotic groups very well. He is extremely athletic and sure footed and shines in the mountains! Cody has also had lots of training in the arena. He is soft in the face, collected and balanced at all gaits. He takes his leads well. He has a good stop, back, side pass, haunch turn and forehand turn and neck reins. He can work a gate, pony colts and pack mules and drag logs. He’s been started on trail trial obstacles also.
He has lovely manners, is easy to catch, groom, bathe, saddle, bridle and mount.
He is currently barefoot and sound on gravel and in the mountains. He has excellent, tough feet!
Rides double, bareback and in a halter, stands to mount off a mounting block or fence.
This fun gelding will make an excellent family horse, he is already experienced as a youth horse, and could go to a confident beginner with a trainer or intermediate rider.
Started on gaming patterns, tracks the sled roping, and been jumped bareback.
Cody is sound, healthy, UTD on everything and ready for his forever home!
