After long consideration she's just too tall for me I am under 5 ft tall. Reba gets along in a mixed herd with my son's gelding my halflinger mare and retired Arab gelding. She is super soft very responsive doesn't care as much for the bit she prefers to ride bitless. Previous owner used a bit on her you Spurs on her and had her head as a ranch horse I am her third owner she was bred in Colorado sold 3 years ago to Montana and then I purchased her 6 months ago at the Billings livestock sale. She is a maiden mare but she is healthy and could be bred. She has one larger knee as she does not give to it but it does have some limited flexion if you are trimming her feet something like that. She is also been a little off on her right hip since she got here in contacting the previous owner they think that she may have had a hip injection before and I've not taken her to the vet for that issue as of yet because my haflinger has squamous cell carcinoma of the eye and my retired Arab has cancer issues and I've been dealing with those two that issues. I've been giving her a buteless and a glucosamine congroitin MSM supplement which seems to affect how she wants to drop that hip.

She can still be written she will go on trail she will go in the arena she is absolutely not spooky and I purchased her as a moderate riding horse not an all-day ranch horse because that's what was their issue is that when they worked her hard all day it was just too much for her. My trainer says all you have to do is think about it and she responds that's how soft she is so if you are a true beginner you she may not be the horse for you because she doesn't like a lot of static because she considers it all cues.

In my opinion I think that she would do great in something like cowboy dressage trail courses obstacle courses light gym Canna events she's leggy and she's got a nice rump on her and if your vet could get her hip more comfortable you might have a very fast horse on your hands. She is halter bread on one side cow Brad on the other and just to reiterate I'm 4 ft 11 and she's 15 too and I'm 66 years old and I have decided she's just too tall for me at this point in my life so I'm just looking to find her the best home so I can get me something under 15 hands I'm also willing to look at a trade that is a similar value. Her low prices due to her knee and hip she is writable we do write her she does not come up lame she does not complain.
