Meet Tika — a 4-year-old Hanoverian Warmblood mare, originally purchased for me as my personal horse. I am a beginner rider, so from the very beginning we invested an incredible amount of time, work, and professional training into her. We worked with highly experienced trainers from both Europe and the United States, and Tika has been carefully trained and socialized since she was a foal. Tika was never purchased with the intention of selling her. She was purchased for me, and we have put years of work into building her foundation and developing her correctly. She is an ambitious, athletic, versatile young sport horse with training in both English and Western dressage, as well as jumping. After turning 3, she competed as a beginner and won first place multiple times in both dressage and beginner jumping. She has also traveled to many different environments and has been exposed to a lot of new experiences. The reason we are selling her is simply that my riding skills did not progress as quickly as Tika's training and development. I also experienced health issues during this process, which made it difficult for me to continue progressing. I have realized that I am better suited to draft-type horses, while Tika needs a rider who can continue developing her potential. Tika is a safe, well-mannered horse who has been taught from a young age how to behave around people and other horses. However, she is a young sport horse with ambition, energy, and temperament, so she is not suitable for a completely beginner rider. She would be a wonderful match for an intermediate rider or experienced young rider who knows how to properly communicate with and guide a horse. She is currently at the point where her future can go either toward English or Western. She is still very young, growing, and developing. She is approximately 15.2 hands now and is expected to mature to around 16 hands. We do not ride her every day or overwork her. Most of her training has been done from the ground, with short and occasional riding sessions to protect her developing body. Her entire journey, from foal to today, can be seen through the photos and videos on our social media. We are open to a pre-purchase exam. Please contact me directly for more information about Tika at 7738077038, about her training, temperament, and potential.
