Meet Cookie, a talented 2022 mare with a heart of gold and the perfect personality to fit right in with any rider. She would be best suited with an intermediate rider or a youth working with a trainer.
Cookie has a fabulous in-hand foundation and excels in showmanship and in-hand events. She is confident in both the near-side and off-side. In-hand she walks, trots off, sets up, haunch turns both ways, forehand turns both ways, side passes, and backs (near and off-side).
Under saddle, Cookie walks , trots, lopes stops, backs, haunch turns both ways, forehand turns both ways, and side passes. She is started on a flying lead change as well. She can handle any trail maneuver I throw at her. She has been ridden in Western and English. Cookie has also carried a flag. Her intelligence shines through as she quickly picks up new skills and eagerly learns new things.
She’s also confident and calm in new environments—she can walk across a bridge, has been through water, and enjoys trail rides. Cookie’s versatility and steady temperament make her an excellent prospect for OHSET and 4H competitions, with just a few finishing touches needed to bring her to the next level.
