Mallico is a wonderful 2007 16hh gelding who was competing 2* eventing last year and is now looking for a step down job due to his rider moving on in life, he's a safe mom packer type. Mallico would be perfect for someone looking to get some great results at the 1*/modified level, but hed also be just as happy packing someone around a novice/beginner novice course, and trail riding on hack days. He had a minor tendon strain last year but he's been rehabbed with shockwave therapy and it hasn't shown any signs of weakness or reoccurrence, cause is known and it wasn't on him - more than happy to explain to interested parties. Aside from that hiccup he's never had any soundness issues in his career, we bought him as an unbacked 6 year old so there are no surprises in his background or care. Mallico has a super chill personality and was packing my mom around mountain trails on the buckle when he was 2* fit, he's a solid citizen and a lovely squeeze ride type. He's been BCEA training level champion, BCEA prelim level champion, BCEA horse of the year, Prelim winner at Galway Downs, top 10 placing at his first FEI event, and my sister passed the entire Pony Club A level tests with him. He's never had any traumatic experiences and he's very safe to handle, he's been used to teach beginners how to lunge and ride, and he trailers like a pro. No buck, bolt, rear, or funny shenanigans of any sort. Because he was started later and we've always taken great care with his legs he's got a lot of years left in him in a step down career where he can teach a rider the ropes and the ribbons. Comes with FEI passport, his custom saddle and tack can be sold with him too.
