Benny is not ready to retire! He is a 15.2 speckled gray, registered AQHA gelding, and 20 years young. He has plenty of life and enjoys doing things with his human, he just wasn’t quite ready to be the “husband horse” we thought he would. He is a sensitive boy and loves to please, but he can get a little anxious with a timid rider. Good ground manners, good for the vet and farrier, trailers well and is an all-around good citizen. In other words, he is a gem! He was a competitive barrel racer, but has been a trail horse for the past few years (high speed racing days are behind him). He could be a great teacher for someone wanting to learn barrels. Or a nice, fun trail horse for a confident rider. Benny is special to us, so we will be choosey about his next (and most likely, forever) home. A good loving home is paramount. Negotiable for the right home. Posting for a friend.
