Charlotte is a super sweet grade mare I’ve had for 4 months. She was sold to me as a horse with that was fit for barrels, which was not the case. She will not be able to barrel race, pole bend, or jump. She is very camped out in her hind end which causes her to be stiff and have an awkward build. She’s vet aged 15-18 years old and stands at 14.3 hands and about 1000 pounds. She is UTD on all (teeth, feet, shots, negative coggins) and is barefoot. She could make a good trail horse or slow cow horse. She does great around any other animals, dogs, cats, goats, chickens, cows, and other horses. She has some buddy sour issues that I’ve already worked on but she needs some more help. She won’t give you any sour issues as long as she has something to keep her mind off it. She’s pretty much bomb proof and does fine around dirt bikes, fireworks, and similar things. I wouldn’t recommend her to you if you are not confident in W/T/C as she is an energetic horse. If you wanted something to take out everyday she could be your girl. She’s not going to buck unless she’s uncomfortable or in pain, she doesn’t bite, she does have a rearing issue on the ground that I’ve calmed down. (she has never reared in saddle.) She loads best with a feed bucket if she’s alone and won’t give you trouble with another horse. She is a dream to wash and loves the hose. She stands tied but of course with her buddy sour issues can be a bit shifty if she isn’t around another horse. She is amazing for fly spray, you can walk out to the field and spray her with no problems. She catches easy from the field and sometimes will even come up to you herself. My only issue with test riding her is I have not been able to find a saddle to fit her so I’ve been riding her bareback. I believe she is either a 6 or 6.5 gullet if you have a saddle that size feel free to bring it.
