Watch Gun is an 18-year-old, approximately 15.3-hand AQHA-registered sorrel gelding located in North Hayden, Idaho.

He is a total gentleman on the ground - very respectful, easy to handle, and not pushy. He has never crowded us or come up into our space. He is the boss of our three-gelding herd, but he is fair and respectful with the other horses. He has a calm, steady demeanor and loads easily into the trailer.

We have owned him for just over two years. He is technically my husband’s horse and unfortunately my husband isn't riding much these days... but he has been ridden extensively by me and my 11-year-old daughter.

He does well in the arena at the walk, trot, and canter and he also does well ridden bareback. He is great on the trails and has a purposeful, forward ranch-style walk. He is well broke, responds readily to leg pressure, and has never been hot or fresh after time off. I have been able to hop on and ride him after the winter without needing to lunge him first.

He can be watchy and will occasionally spook, so I want to be clear about that. When he does, he spooks in place; he has never bolted or taken off with us.

He is an easy keeper with no maintenance. Vaccines and teeth were done this spring, and he was just shod. AQHA papers are in hand.
